Anime Review: "Digimon Adventure Tri Part 2"

Well, hello again guys. Back again with an anime review, part 2 of Digimon Adventure Tri. Ever since it was announced back on 2015, i was really hyped for this, for old nostalgia sake, this has to be good. But, the truth, first part of it didn't really catch our (fans) heart. Story continues from part one, where Omegamon beats off Alphamon and they meet another DigiDestined member, Meiko Mochizuki. Taichi and his friends are going on a hot spring trip. There they encounter so many problems. This part's story really is character-oriented and it's really boring in my opinion, and too much fanservice! It's not the Digimon i once remember. From there, they are having school festival. When suddenly, a portal to Digital World is opened, and Ken Ichichouji catches Meicoomon. Palmon, Gomamon, and Leomon chase him out to the Digital World.

Truthfully, this part seems so flat and boring. It's too character-oriented and no story-development. Yeah there's nothing new we learn from this part, on how the Digimons were infected, portals came out of nowhere, and the worst thing, too many fanservices. It's okay to have a few scenes of it, but a lot of scenes showing fanservices? Nope, not gonna work, especially on Digimon. And the battle was short and not entertaining, moreover it was so boring wathing this whole part and i regretted it.

Overall, for Digimon fans, this part is a failure and a pain to watch, especially for me. Waiting for the third part (around September 2016) and we'll see on how this series will go.
