Movie Review: "Life"

Movie Review: "Life"

by Wilson Kosasih

We get yet another exciting movie to watch this month, a sci-fi thriller movie which locates in space. Scientists of six from America, Russia, and Japan cooperate to find a life existence outside Earth. And in this case, they found an alien from Mars, named "Calvin". But something bad happen because of Hugh Derry's mistake (Ariyon Bakare) and causes Calvin to grow much faster and more ferocious than before. Will the rest of the crew survive? Well, you have to watch the movie to find out.

With that brilliant casts, like Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhall and Rebecca Ferguson, this movie is bound to be a huge success. And yes indeed, this is one of the best sci-fi movie out there. Sure, the story's pace is much slower at the beginning of the movie, but it's much more interesting after that. Characters are played very well by the casts, with so few information on them, but they can still do a great job about it. The amount of introduction is enough to start this movie and end it with a twist.

Story is however much alike with other sci-fi movies, where astronauts find an alien and they try to learn something for it. But suddenly, something goes wrong and they are trying to survive from it. What differs those movies from Life is,on how it tells the story. But, it is rather short and there are too much unanswered questions. Visuals are stunning, the best since Gravity and i'm pretty sure this movie will nominate for "Best Picture".

And just like the other sci-fi movies, it ends with a twist and i still don't know how it happen. There are too many unanswered questions going along in my head and i demand some answers! One more thing though, some of the scenes are quite "gory" for some people and they are having a hard time watching this.

Overall, this movie is fun to watch but it isn't for everyone. One of the best sci-fi movies out there and you guys should probably watch this, rather than Beauty and the Beast and Power Rangers for this week. That's all from me, have a good day folks!

Overall, this is one of the best "Batman" movie out there. It's smart, funny, and action sequences are done well. You guys have to watch this after two disappointing DC movies. And well, this movie suits everyone from a kid to an adult.
