Another year, another battle between PES (Pro Evolution Soccer, Winning Eleven in Asia) and FIFA to be the best football game. And this year is the 20th year for PES. The demo just came out last week and i just had the time to play the demo. The demo's size is around 3GB and i'm playing on PS4. Let's jump straight to the review, shall we?
I don't really play the last two installments of the game because it was really awful, the better PES was PES2013, and all the fans would agree with that. So, I'm basically will just review the game from the demo, but take a note that the final product maybe or won't be the same as the demo. The demo has some big teams you can play, such as Juventus, Roma, Bayern Munich, Brazil national team, France national team, etc. You can choose from two stadiums, and one of them is Juventus Stadium. You can't do much as you know that this is a DEMO.
The game's animations are so smooth and the graphics are awesome, from the players' faces, to the pitch and the supporters' reaction to the game, It's not too hard to score goals, but you have to build-up the game from passes, not from the player's pace. As i said, the graphics are awesome but there's still some bugs in the game, since that this is still a demo. It's too bad that the demo doesn't have voice commentators, so i couldn't say much about that, About the AI, it's still awful in my opinion, especially the keeper. The keeper sometimes couldn't keep up with the strikers and ends up bad for your team, Konami could really fix this up. Another new addition with the game is celebrations, you as the gamer could choose what celebrations will the player show, but FIFA added this feature a long time ago, so this feature is not that surprising.
Overall, this demo shows a lot of improvement from the previous ones. with some new animations and improved graphics. I think PES could keep up with FIFA this year. And the publishers really use the Fox Engine really well in this game, rather than PES 2015 where the graphics are awful and ugly.
That's all from me, enjoy the post and don't forget to like and share. Thank you and have a good day guys!
