It's a brand new season, that means FIFA and PES will clash once again. This year, Konami brings a deal with FC Barcelona to be the game's official cover, and some other licensed teams such as Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal FC, and Liverpool FC. Fox Engine gives so much power this year, and maybe, just maybe, PES will bring over FIFA.
Graphics are much much better from last year, and the likenesses of players shown here are supremely similar. Improvements have been made to stadiums (especially on graphics), defenders' AI and crowds' responds to the match. New celebration like "Strip shirt" is available here, but will cost you a yellow card.
Gameplay, however, feels the same like last year, and it feels slow to me. It even feels slow when you counter-attack. Konami could have been fixing this, but i think it won't make it better. It becomes harder to score with this slow rate gameplay, when the goalkeepers' AI is improving a lot and it makes players harder to score.
For me, this game has improved a lot and could be a decent contender for FIFA. If, Konami could at least have better licenses, maybe PES could once win this match.
