Synopsis:

2 decades after the alien invasion,Earth is faced again with a new Solar threat.The US president,teams of scientists and brave pilot fighters got into action on saving planet Earth from getting destroyed by a seemingly invisible opponent.

Review:

The classic hit sci-fi movie got itself a brand new sequel after a long 20 years however the result of the movie is: dissapointing...The movie is filled with a weak and uninspiring story filled with cheesiness,badly written script, the script is pretty bad that even great actors such as Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman looked pretty average in the movie plus the one-liner jokes weren't funny and failed to deliver.The most important one is the lack of character development where we as the viewers won't feel attached to the main characters, In other words, we won't possess the feeling of cheering for our heroes and despising the antagonists. It's a soulless movie packed with huge explosions and mindless action. Moreover, although the movie contains lots of actions, the movie still fails to deliver the excitement. In My opinion, Independence Day 2 doesn't even reach the standard of modern high budget movie.

The good thing about this movie is the visual effects, the CGI during alien invasion is actually pretty good and kind of realistic. The explosions effect is also pleasant to watch.And maybe some fangirls will be delighted to see Liam Hemsworth charming smile (?).

In conclusions, i recommend this to people who watch movies only for  the explosions and actions instead of a storyline. If you're planning to watch a memorable movie which made you feel great when you walked out of the theater, then go watch something else instead of this. It is a very 

disappointing sequel.

 -Poor Dialogs

-Badly written scripts

- Unoriginal plot

- Poor Character Development 

-Lack of Suspense
