Synopsis:

My Stupid Boss is based on book by Chaos@work,it tells the story between an absurd boss who referred himself as "Bossman" (Reza Rahadian) and his employees.Bossman is an Indonesian who owns a big company in Kuala Lumpur. However,the company itself is pretty much disorganized.The culprit of the disarray itself is no other than Bossman himself.His Principle is that ''Bossman is always right no matter what circumstances''. In the midst of this, newly recruited Diana (Bunga Citra Lestari) has to deal with all of her boss' antics  in which her patience is put to the test.

Review:

First thing i wanted to say about this movie is that the casts acted brilliantly! I was amazed by the main and supporting casts especially Reza and BCL, they have an undisputed chemistry onscreen.  Supporting casts has also offered a brilliant comedic performance, especially the late Chew Kin Wah who passed away two months ago, he made me laugh quite lot of time. BCL reaction towards Bossman's absurd decisions and behaviour is also a pleasure to watch.And of course, I need to give kudos to Reza for his amazing versatile acting ability and of course for his amazing performance in this movie. He really nailed his role as Bossman, he acted so naturally and everything he said on the movie could just make you laugh.Here's the trailer so that u understand what i'm talking about

The makeup in this movie is also one of the best i've ever seen in Indonesia movie, Reza's bald wig look very natural that you won't believe that he got an amazing thick hair irl. The picture quality of the movie is also amazing,

 However, storywise, due to it being a sitcom type of comedy, it's a bit shallow, there're lot of thing they could develop on the plot but the director decided to just left it there, It is probably aimed to stay true to its book . However, in terms of comedic timing and script, it is marvelous,The reactions on how the Malaysian employees doesn't understand what Bossman said was hilarious to watch.The movie offered fresh kind of comedy in Indonesia because it is not stand up comedy type of comedy. 

Overall, watch this one without any seriousness, watch this in the aim of relaxing your mind after stressful working hours. Because the aim of this movie is to entertain, it truly focus on its comedy and people with sense of humour will really LOL.I recommended to watch this one
